chicken briyani

 Ingredients :

             . Ghee

             . Oil

             . Onion

             . Ginger garlic paste

             . Green chilli 

             . Tomato

             . Coriander leaves

             . Mint leaves

             . Chicken

             . Basmathi rice

             . Chilli powder

             . Star anise(1)

             . Cinnamon stick (3)

             . Cloves(6 to 8)

             . Cardamom(5)

             . Cumin seeds(1 teaspoon)

             . Fennel seeds(1/4 spoon)

             . Pepper seeds(1/2 teaspoon)

             . Salt

             . Turmeric

             . Coriander powder

             . Curd 

             . Bay leaf 

 

 




   Preparation:

           1. soak the rice for 30 min. 

           2. Take a mixer and put the spices (star anise, cinnamon stick,

               cloves, cardamom, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, pepper) 

               grind it.

           3. Take a bowl put  1kg chicken  and add grinded powder, 

               ginger garlic paste, salt,  curd, coriander leaves, mint, 

               chilli powder, coriander powder  and mix it and marinate

               for 30 min.

           4. Take a bowl pour 3tbl spoon of oil and 2tbl spoon of ghee

               put bay leaf, cinnamon.

           5. Add onions 4 green chilli saute until it gets brown add

              tomato, mint leaves, coriander leaves saute till tomato turns

              soft.

          6. Add marinated chicken saute for 3min in medium flame.

          7. After that close the lid and allow them to cook for 8 to 10

              min in low flame add water for one glass of rice one and

              half of water should pour.

          8. Allow it to boil  add soaked basmathi rice mix gently and 

              allow it to cook for 20 min in low flame after that switch 

              off the flame and leave it for 5 minutes and open it.
